Managing your workflow effectively.
SSP Innovations has developed Workforce Management (WFM) as a work design and management tool for small- and medium-sized utilities to allow them to gain the major benefits of a centralized management system for a minimal cost.
WFM is implemented as a centralized Microsoft ASP.Net web application consuming a Microsoft SQL Server database. The flexible architecture, configuration, and extensibility of the application make it an ideal fit for any utility looking to get up and running with automated work design in an accelerated timeframe.
In March of 2011, SSP Innovations' owner and principal consultant, Skye Perry, presented "Designer-Integrated Work Order Management for Small Utilities" with John Garrett of Garland Power & Light, at the Telvent Users Group Conference in Fort Collins, CO. A standing-room only crowd attended to view the demo of WFM.

Web-based
WFM is browser-accessible, which mean there's no client workstation install. With Microsoft Active Directory Authentication, users can securely access the tool from anywhere with web access. Web-based access also means a lower total cost of ownership and quicker deployment in your system.
Custom-configured to meet your needs
As part of the standard investment price, SSP will work with your team to develop a comprehensive workflow document for your utility's work orders, from creation through close-out. This model drives configuration of the WFM tool to replicate your unique processes. Data is then modeled and converted to fit the system, and wizards are configured to your verbiage and dataset.
Seamless integration to your existing systems
Optional integrations include:
- Telvent Designer/Designer Express
- Customer Information Systems (CIS)
- Outage Management Systems (OMS)
- Inventory/Materials Management
- Mobile Dispatch
- Asset Management Systems
- Financial & Accounting Systems
